Q Is lingerie suitable for pole dancing?
A Pole wear and lingerie do crossover but there are a few things to consider before you rush out and buy it.
- The surroundings where you will wear it – If its a home pole then anything goes but if its a studio with other students then there are items that you would not wear.
- See through lace, flimsy non supportive and crotchless are a no no but a well adapted bra, pants and garter belt may be suitable. A little consideration is necessary with more risqué items
- leather, vinyl and more BDSM wear can have chains and metal clasps which may scratch you or the pole
Q What about bodysuits?
A Bodysuits are generally worn as stage wear for competitions rather than practice at your pole class. They are a great option and can look spectacular under stage lighting.
